After 25 years working in the NHS I became a patient at the beginning of this year when I was diagnosed with incurable breast cancer. From the moment I found out I had cancer I used writing as a way to make sense of my feelings, make lists, take notes, make observations. I’ve continued to write as my treatment continues. Friends have encouraged me to share what I have written – this webpage is just that, a place to share my personal perspective on a diagnosis and treatment that has been challenging and enlightening. I hope you find something here for you X
